When to go to Sunny Beach
The beach season runs from June to September. July and August are the busiest months — and the most expensive: the resort fills up and it pays to book months ahead. The sweet spot is June and September: the same warm sea and half-empty beaches. Outside that window the resort winds down, though Nessebar (UNESCO), 5 km away, is worth a visit all year round.
